I preferred it when it was "A Perfect Day Spa"

We thank you for sharing, however, we'd appreciate a few details about your experience with this spa -- Water Lounge Spa -- rather than expressing your fondness for the former brand. Our understanding is that the former owner of A Perfect Day Spa, which previously occupied this space, abruptly closed the business in early 2018, leaving many customers cheated out of prepaid package and employees suddenly unemployed. If true, that's not a brand to admire.

My spa experience was good but I had an issue with the tip at the front desk. I felt forced to leave a lot for the tip. The Spa itself was already is pretty expensive so it didn’t make sense to give a hefty tip.

Tipping in our area is customarily a percentage of the total service cost. A tip on a $100 service (or meal, for instance), will be much higher than a tip on a $10 service (or meal). Similarly, a costly spa treatment, if the experience was good as you indicate it was, would then naturally garner a higher tip than a lesser priced service on the menu. That's how it makes sense to us, and, how we factor in budgeting for our good spa experiences. -- Spa Index
