Vista Collina Resort is a Meritage Collection resort, situated near downtown Napa and its sun-soaked hillside vineyards.
The resort offers both guest rooms and suites, including select with full-service kitchens and living space for “wine country living.” The resort has all the Napa Valley activities you want, from curated wine-tasting tours, in-suite culinary classes, hiking and walking tours, fine dining, and more. The resort is adjacent to The Lawn, a spacious outdoor venue which hosts “Live on the Lawn” — featuring live music, gourmet food truck, cocktail bar, wine tastings and more, every weekend.
Spa Terra at the sister and neighboring Meritage Resort is housed in an underground Estate Cave. Vista Collina guests are welcome to make the short stroll and enjoy treatments include the cave-inspired stone massage, organic skincare including grape seed facials, body treatments with local grown lavender and organic products, and more. Amenities include 12 treatment rooms, including four couple’s suites, and special spa parties for groups and private events. Continue relaxing with access to the swimming pool and fitness center. Each week, join the Spa Terra team for Wellness Wednesdays — with self-care and yoga classes on the Vineyard Deck overlooking the Meritage Resort vineyards.

I loved the property. VC has vineyards, tasting rooms and other amenities on the property. The guest rooms are nice (but thin walls, kinda noisy) and the veranda and lawns for sitting outside are nice. The rooms are a little less expensive than the Meritage across the way, but it's the same ownership so you can get to use SpaTerra which is GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! Taking off 1 star because a) this is noisy at night, you can hear conversations between rooms when people don't use "inside voices" and, b) Check in is supposed to be 4:00 p.m. We arrived at 5:00 p.m. They didn't have our room ready until 6:30 p.m. That may only seem like 1.5 hr delay, and you can sit and have wine, but, we should have been able to get in, showered and cleaned up, and use our paid room by 4 as promised. You don't even get 24 hours stay in a room anyway -- if you only get from 4 pm to 12:noon the next day. Now delays are taking 2.5 hours of THAT away and they DON'T give you a late check-out. I get it, it delays housekeeping and makes the next guest late. But they also don't give you a perk, either, for that 2.5 hours delay. Not even a glass of wine. A little thing that bugs me.
Beautiful location and amenities!
Resort had a rough reopening. The hot tub didn't work. The TV in our Cabana didn't work for most of the day. Service was slow.
