I had a strange reason to pick this hotel, casino and spa for a stay. I was planning on filing for divorce and having papers served in a particular time frame and I wanted to be far away, at some random small place we've never discussed and no one would think to come looking for me. This is about a 3 hour drive, and had some amenities, and this isn't the type of place anyone would think I'd visit. Too "quirky" for my usual tastes, I guess?
So glad I made the choice.
Staff could not have been kinder. I ate well, gambled a bit, had salon and spa treatments, slept, swam. Took short walks. I'm really happy I came to some place I thought was quirky and off beat and instead turned out to be a little peach of a stay, with genuinely warm and friendly staff.
Very nice rooms, pool, and spa. Direct excess to the casino. And a very short walk to Jack's Bar.
The staff is extremely helpful, the food was good and the spa was fantastic.
