Nestled in the heart of the Brandywine Valley, the 19th Century houses and gardens of the Inn and Spa at Montchanin Village resonate with the life of simpler times while providing the amenities and comforts of the modem age. Nine of the eleven buildings were the original homes for workers of the DuPont powder mills. Painstakingly restored, no two of the 28 guest rooms and suites are alike, each offering a unique and luxurious experience.
Dining
Krazy Kat’s Restaurant is located within The Village and features fresh, seasonal Northeast cuisine, while offering an eclectic fine dining menu. Additionally, Krazy Kat’s now offers a specialized spa menu, available for delivery to The Spa, as well as breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.
Spa
Though a recent addition to the hamlet’s barn, The Spa at Montchanin Village retains the charm and feel guests have come to expect while visiting The Inn. Every fixture has been hand picked, every service has been custom designed, and every garden pathway has been meticulously tended to enhance the overall experience of The Inn as well as The Spa. Additionally, the services offered at The Spa feature the luxurious Darphin skin care line that is based on a harmonious blend of technology, plants and pure essential oils and Red Flower, a wonderful all natural botanical experience.
Fitness
The Inn’s fitness center is located in the Dilwyn Barn and open to all of guests, free of charge, from 5 AM to 11PM. The fitness center offers Precore LifeCycles, free weights, treadmills, and Nordic Track.

First time here. Came with my wife for a relaxing afternoon. And I will say the services we received were wonderful, and we certainly enjoyed them. My problem, however, was the woman at the front desk. Didn’t seem to know what was going on when we checked in. And when we paid, she clearly had an issue with the tip amount we left, and deliberately tried to make my wife look foolish for it. As someone who’s worked in the service industry his whole life, this type of behavior is completely unacceptable, as well as extremely rude and disrespectful. We plan on returning, hoping that the woman running the front desk learns better customer service skills.

This is my ‘go to place’ for my pedicures. Melody is fabulous. She takes her time and gives me star treatment every time! Needless to say, my feet are hardly seen in the winter but I appreciate the time Melody takes to assure that my feet are soft and beautiful. And the refreshments she offers aren’t bad either. Melody is a gem!
This is my and my husband’s date place. Once a month we go and get a couples massage. Love it, love it, love it. Service is wonderful! Staff is extremely friendly and professional!
