About Faces Day Spa and Salon – Annapolis

I booked a hair cut for my daughter. I told the booking receptionist that my daughter is 5 years old. When we arrived for the hair cut, she was a little afraid. The stylist named “Chris” was very very rude from the start, giving us pained expressions, and he asked if she was going to start crying during the cut. He had a "hands thrown up in the air attitude" and said "I cannot do this." I have never -- ever -- been to a salon where a stylist wouldn't even TRY to warm up to a 5 year old girl getting a hair cut. The receptionist knew I had a young daughter, she should have never booked us with this guy. The salon invited me to return another day to see someone else who would work with a young girl, but after this man's very unprofessional and belittling attitude, I would never go back to this place.

I am not from Maryland. I came to Annapolis to visit my sister who just moved here. She treated to me to a spa day at this lovely spa. I was a little timid at first being that I was in a new place. About Faces made me feel like I was family right from the start. They were welcoming and so nice. They had water, teas and coffee. I didn't want to leave that cute little relaxation area. The massage was AMAZING! I think her name was Shae. Then the facial -- heaven. The pedicure was amazing as well. Next time I am in Maryland I definitely will be back for more.

They take a lot of precautions to ensure the safety of staff and patrons. The anti-stress facial is my favorite. It combines all the dewy freshness of a facial with the relaxation of light back massage and exfoliation. It's the best of both worlds. It's great for my TMJ pain and is something I have yet to find at other local spas.
