DIY Apple Cider Witch Hazel Toner

Intended for slightly oily skins, we’re told by skincare experts this Apple Cider Vinegar Toner is an excellent substitute for rubbing alcohol (a real no-no for oily complexions, as it actually stimulates the oil glands to produce more oil). Witch hazel is a gentle astringent, apple cider vinegar will help restore your skin’s natural pH balance, and lavender soothes sensitive skin.

    Easy. Reliable. A good one.

Obviously clean face first, then apply mixture to the face. Question: how long to leave on? Or do you wash it off after a certain amount of time? Thank you.

      • Spa Index says:

Toner isn’t meant to soak for any length of time, nor do you rinse it off. Rather, you’d simply clean your face first, apply the toner with a cotton ball or pad, and then apply your daily moisturizer or other products in your regime, and carry on! Think of it as a thin “layer” to your skin before adding moisturizes, serums, or cosmetics.
