In a sauté pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Toss the white onions with salt in the pan and sauté, turning a spatula, for 8-10 minutes, until the onions are soft and brown. Set aside.

Spray the grill with vegetable oil spray. Grill the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side, turning to make grill marks. To assure the turkey is fully cooked, let the patties stand for 2-3 minutes after you remove from the grill, and a light press makes the juices run clear.
Divide the lettuce leaves, tomatoes, sliced red onions, sliced pickles among the buns, layering them on the bottom bun.
5 large leaf lettuce leaves, 2 medium tomatoes, 1 small red onion, 1 medium dill pickle, 5 Garlic Rosemary Focaccia Buns
Add a modest dollop of Golden Door Ranch Dressing, if desired

Top each bun with a turkey patty and grilled onions, and add the top bun.
