This hearty and nutritious breakfast features the flavors of creamy Golden Milk with Turmeric and Honey and Spice.
Ingredients
Golden Milk (Yields 2 cups; You'll Use 1/2 cup for the Oats; Reserve the Remainder)
2cupsmilk- your choice
¾teaspoonsturmeric
2tablespoonshoney
½teaspoonpowdered ginger
½teaspoonvanilla extract
½teaspooncinnamon
FewGrindsFresh Pepper
Overnight Oats
½cupold fashioned rolled oats- do not use Instant
½cupgolden milk- from prepared recipe shown above
½cupmango- fresh or frozen, chopped and divided
¼cupGreek Yogurt- Fat Free, Plain
1pinchsea salt
8wholealmonds- chopped
2teaspoonscoconut flakes- unsweetened
Instructions
Golden Milk
Place milk in small sauce pan and add all Golden Milk ingredients.
Heat on medium until it comes to a simmer, stir occasionally.
Let simmer a couple of minutes while whisking slowly; it will get frothy.
Set aside and let cool. You'll use 1/2 cup for the oat recipe, and reserve the rest to enjoy as a beverage (heated).
Overnight Oats
Mix together uncooked oats, golden milk, 1/4 cup of the mango, yogurt, and salt in a mason or similar type jar.
Stir well and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, add to a serving dish and top with almonds, the remaining 1/4 cup of mango, and coconut flakes.

If you’d like to have less carbohydrate or sugars in it, feel free to use whatever calorie-free sweeteners you’d like. You could also reduce the carb count by using half as much of the rolled oats and keeping everything else the same, it will still be substantial and tasty.
