Wraps are almost always a family favorite for lunch as they are easy to pack, don’t tend to get as soggy as sliced bread, can be customized in a variety of ways with the fillings staying put, and providing the wrapper is a modest size, are lesser in calories than two slices of sandwich bread
Ingredients
3largewhole wheat tortillas
1cuphummus
12slicessmoked turkey- thinly sliced
1bell pepper- thinly sliced
1cupalfafa sprouts- or other sprouts, such as clover or broccoli
Sea Salt and Ground Pepper
Instructions
Spread hummus on tortillas and season each with sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
Top each with slice slices of turkey, sliced bell peppers, and sprouts.
Roll each tortilla, slice in two, and serve.

Not a fan of hummus? Try light reduced calorie cream cheese or flavored cheese spread, instead, or use sun-dried tomato spread. Also, left-over chicken and turkey, diced, can be mixed directly with the hummus and spread on each tortilla "chicken salad style." Makes a great extender when you need to make a few sandwiches but don't enough protein portions to go around.
