We've got two versions for you to try. One from the Heartland Spa, and one from Canyon Ranch. Which would you prefer? The clean taste of the Canyon Ranch Version, which uses ground peanuts and a bit of sugar, or the Honey Almond taste of the Heartland version, which uses peanut butter?
Add all ingredients to a food processor, process until smooth.
Serve immediately or cover and chill until ready to serve.
Canyon Ranch Version
Grind the peanuts in a food processor until they're the consistency of a grainy paste, or as chunky or smooth as you prefer.
Add the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth.
Serve on apple slices, stuffed in celery, or on crackers or a toasted pita.
Spa Index Kitchen Notes
Andrea's tip: For a delicious variation, try substituting real maple syrup for the sugar. The extra liquid from the syrup makes the milk unnecessary, if you don't want to use it.The Heartland Version was used to calculate the nutritional stats. It made 2 cups and we used 4 teaspoons per serving.
