This sorbet is vibrant, sweet and sour (depending on the berries) and lovely to look at, too.
Ingredients
½cupmango(frozen)
½cupraspberries(frozen)
Lime Juice or Orange Juice
Instructions
Add 1/4 cup frozen mango into a blender or a frozen fruit dessert maker (like a home soft-serve or Yonanas type machine, if you have one), or, a good blender or food processor if you don't.
Add 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
Blend to Smoothness
Alternate inserting remaining 1/4 cup of each fruit
Blend again, with less force, to retain some chunky fruit
Add a squirt of lime juice or orange juice (in moderation) to help with both flavor and liquid, as needed
Stir in bowl to combine
Serve immediately, or, add to a freezer safe bowl and freeze until desired firmness.
Enjoy!
Spa Index Kitchen Notes
SPA INDEX TIP: We've never had a mango that wasn't sweet enough to carry the day, but if your berries are really tart, and you need a bit of sweetness, add a bit of orange juice, or, in a pinch, your favorite natural sweetener, such as Stevia, or honey.SERVING TIP: You can adjust the number of servings shown above, to customize the quantity of ingredients needed (and resulting nutritional stats) for this recipe.
