Family Friendly Resort
If you’re traveling with children, Marival Resort has supervised activities for children 4-12. They can enjoy miniature golf, rock repelling, relax in the movie room, or sign up for camping nights. While the kids are enjoying their own vacation, the parents are free to enjoy cooking classes and Spanish lessons, or use this time to spend time in Intra Mare Spa and Salon.
Pools and Spa
Intra Mare is the resort’s full-service spa with beauty salon (services for an additional charge), offering facials, massages, body treatments, waxing, hair and nail care, detox sauna, and couples’ services. Spend a day at the resort’s four (4) pools, including an activities pool with a swim-up bar, an adult-only quiet pool, the Grand Pool with swim-up bar and Jacuzzi for adults only, and a children’s pool with water slides and activities.

When you arrive you need to go through a procedure to get keys and wrist bands which you need the entire time you are a guest -- BUT -- our room keys were given to "timeshare people" who first tried to upsell us on time-shares. We were not interested and after about 10 minutes they took our word for it and we got to proceed finally, with check-in. The room was clean, spacious and well stocked with amenities. The minibar was well stocked with assorted beverages. The balcony was spacious and relaxing with a partial of the ocean. The staff was friendly and very helpful at all times (except the timeshare people at the beginning). The entertainment was okay. The food options were limited because of Covid and not very interest. The pools and common area were kept neat and clean. The beach was the best part. Pretty amazing. Definitely plan on staying again when Covid lets them start up more food and beverage options.
This was a pretty nice resort, but I wouldn't call it amazing or beautiful. Like a lot of all-inclusive resorts they have many locations for food and drink and pools and activities. As you'd expect, the food and drink are just okay. This place is very clean and the staff is nice and helpful. Overall a good place to stay or visit if you're in Nuevo Vallarta.
