A dairy-free and egg-free version of the holiday classic, complete with richness and spice. Serve as is, or add your own personal flair. Skill level: beginner.
Ingredients
2cupscashew milk- unsweetened, and homemade if possible
½cupcoconut milk- canned, full fat
⅓cupraw cashews
4wholedates- pitted
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
1teaspoonnutmeg- fresh ground
⅛teaspoonground cinnamon
1Pinchground cloves
1Pinchsea salt or pink salt
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy.
2 cups cashew milk, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/3 cup raw cashews, 4 whole dates, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 Pinch ground cloves, 1 Pinch sea salt or pink salt
Serve immediately as is, or add your own personal flair. Garnish with a sprinkle of freshly ground nutmeg on top.
Store in fridge for up to 7 days in a sealed container.
