Rich, nutritious, and warmly spiced, this smoothie is a nice breakfast all year.
Ingredients

- tender or young, scrubbed and chopped

- or almond, if you prefer

Instructions
In a blender, combine all of the ingredients until completely smooth.
Garnish as desired (try sliced almonds, toasted oats, walnuts, cinnamon or nutmeg, sliced bananas, or apple slices)
