Spa Index Kitchen Notes
Golden Door uses Lacuma Powder in many of its recipes. This powdered fruit sweetener is low on the glycemic index and the Chef's preferred healthier alternative. This product may be hard to find -- so you can easily replace it with brown sugar in a 2:1 ratio. For every 2 tablespoons of lacuma powder called for, replace it with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
