Sebastián), Huelva, Huesca, Balearic Islands (Palma de Mallorca),

Hotel Termas
Marinas is a
charming family-run boutique spa hotel with
magnificent views of the Mediterranean coast and
surrounded by Mediterranean pine forest. Just a
stone's throw for the shore and the 19th century
beach villas only add to the attraction of this
privileged spot.
Sea water has a composition which is similar to
blood plasma and it has a re-balancing effect
through the absorption by osmosis in the human
body. Sea water must be carefully
preserved and maintained in order to offer its
rich benefits, and thus, its availability, and
that of a true thalassotherapy spa facility,
is limited. At Hotel Termas
Marinas, natural sea water, heated up to a
temperature of 34-36 degrees, is used in
traditional cures in baths, showers, pressure
steams, and other forms of hydrotherapy.
In addition, Hydrocinesitherapy (exercises in
sea water) permits the advantages of the
weightlessness of the sea water. Marine
vegetation and mud complete the therapeutic
action of the sea water because of its
contribution of iodine and trace elements that
make the substances exchange process more
quickly. In order to adhere
to the highest standards set which form the
federation Mer et Sante, Hotel Termas Marinas is
located no more than 1000 meters from the sea;
takes water from a determined distance and depth
(700 meters and 9 meters respectively); follows
strict water quality controls; maintains in good
working order the installations; and offers
medical supervision of the program and its
participants.

Built at the turn of the 20th Century,
Hotel Termes
Montbrió has Edwardian flourishes with
added modernist touches and Catalan panache. This famous resort is set in
four hectares of abundant gardens, full of lush bougainvilleas, cacti,
sequoias and fruit trees. The beautifully landscaped grounds are ideal for
relaxing, especially with the fragrant scent of exotic flowers wafting
through the air. The 214 elegantly-decorated rooms are spacious,
comfortable and air-conditioned. Five of the suites are distinctly
decorated with Arabic, British, Colonial, Italian and Japanese themes.
The Spa Aquatonic and Leisure Centre
pavilion includes a 400sq m area of stimulating thermal waters. Using the same thermal springs sourced by the Ancient Romans, the main Spa has a
central pool. Heated to either 41°C or 81°C the mineral-rich pools are used in the heated swimming pool that has geysers and bubble beds. The
springs are used in the giant Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, saunas and all hydrotherapy treatments. The Spa uses Dead Sea mud and the purest algae from
Brittany in their body wraps. The Hand and Foot Shower is a means of generating greater circulation. Ultrasound is used in the electrotherapy
treatments to combat cellulite and help to reduce pain associated with arthritis. Cell regeneration, oxygenation, liposuction and botox injections
are included in aesthetic treatments. Personalised programmes are available.
