Spain (officially Kingdom of Spain) is a country located in southwestern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula. The Spanish mainland is bordered to the south and east almost entirely by the Mediterranean Sea (except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar); to the north by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean and Portugal. Spanish territory also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the African coast, and two autonomous cities in North Africa, Ceuta and Melilla, which border Morocco.

Built at the turn of the 20th Century, Hotel Termes Montbrió has Edwardian flourishes with added modernist touches and Catalan panache. This famous resort is set in four hectares of abundant gardens, full of lush bougainvilleas, cacti, sequoias and fruit trees. The springs are used in the giant Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, saunas and all hydrotherapy treatments. The Spa uses Dead Sea mud and the purest algae from Brittany in their body wraps. The Hand and Foot Shower is a means of generating greater circulation. Ultrasound is used in the electrotherapy treatments to combat cellulite and help to reduce pain associated with arthritis.
