Philea Resort and Spa adds another feather on its cap by winning the ‘Best Green Hotel’ 2010-2011 which was awarded by Melaka Tourism Association. In addition to its Go Green initiatives, it participates in collecting “Ring Pulls” to help the Prosthesis Foundation in Thailand. About 3,000 ring pulls are required to make one artificial limb from recycled aluminum, which is light and rust-free. Ring Pull bowls have been placed in various places such as the food and beverage outlets in order for staffs and public to drop off the ring pulls.
