Guam is a territory of the United States of America (USA), located approximately 3,300 miles West of Hawaii, 1,500 miles East of the Philippines and 1,550 miles South of Japan.  It is the Western most territory of the United States and one of the leading tourist destinations in the Western Pacific, with the majority of visitors coming from Japan.

Although located in the Northern Pacific, Guam is a tropical island with a tropical climate.  It is approximately 30 miles long and 9 miles wide.  The Northern end of Guam has rolling hills and cliffs rising to 600 feet above sea level.  The Central "in island" and Southern areas have waterfalls, rivers and bays.   The majority of the tourist hotels are along the Tumon Bay beachfront, where visitors swim, snorkel, and scuba dive.
