Our visitors enjoy hearing from
other spa visitors, but please be specific in your review. "It was great" or "It
was terrible" isn't as helpful as details which will help our readers make a
decision. What did you enjoy about the spa you reviewed? What treatments did you
have? Did anything disappoint you? Did a spa staff person make your visit
particularly pleasant? Would you return, and would you recommend this spa to
friends? If you had a problem, did you alert the management?
Did management resolve the problem to your satisfaction?
Of equal importance, we may elect not to publish a review if:
-
You don't provide a complete review,
with your name and email address. Sometimes we need to contact you
to ask questions, or ask permission to edit your review.
-
The review is negative, from an anonymous sender, and doesn't include a return email address, or has an
invalid email
address or invalid street address. With a negative review, it is very important that we confirm the review with you before publication. We will protect your privacy
if requested, but, we must be able
to contact you. To publish a negative review without investigating
the details is irresponsible journalism.
The review is positive,
but is from an anonymous sender, doesn't include a return email address
or has an invalid email address, or sounds like an "advertisement."
We try very hard to give our readers true reviews by visitors and not
"free marketing" submitted by spa owners, employees, and marketing staff.
We have received a number of Spa Reviews which, when investigated even in a cursory fashion, have been shown to come from
the Spa's own employees, managers, and owners. This is discouraging! We make it so easy and economical to promote your Spa on our site, so we are discouraged when spa
providers believe they can mislead our readers with advertisements in the guise of "reviews." While we appreciate your interest in Spa Index, we reserve the
right not to publish a review that smacks of an "advertisement" and, when we DO publish a review of a non-subscribing Spa Facility, we reserve the right to do so only
temporarily, out of fairness to our subscribing facilities.
