Location
South Point is located 3 miles from the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip. Shuttles from South Point to the strip depart every hour from 8:00 am to midnight. Guests are shuttled to and from McCarron airport free of charge.

This hotel and spa is about 5 miles south of the Las Vegas strip and has a lot of surrounding shops and restaurants. Here they have smoking and non-smoking room towers which I loved. Being able to get away from the casino floor where smoking is allowed was a plus for me. My room was large and spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. There was obvious signs that some renovations had done but they were done in haste and not completed properly. The staff and management were very pleasant, helpful and professional. There were restaurants along the casino floor where you had many choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. You won't have to go far for entertainment either, onsite there is a movie theater, bowling alley and game room. There is also a spa, fitness center and laundry. Next time I visit Vegas I will be booking here again.
This is our go-to place every time we are in Vegas. I love that it is away from all the hustle and bustle of the main parts of the strip. ALL of the staff are super friendly, and the managers are extremely generous with comps. I wish there were more of the crowd favorites when it comes to gaming but if atmosphere is what you are after there is no better place in all of Las Vegas. The spa and fitness rooms are second to none. There is a salon as well as barber on site. There is bowling and movie theatre for the kids. I can go on and on. This is the best resort in Nevada period.
All good, A lot of smoking here, but that is to be expected in Nevada. Great room, lots of things to do here with the movie theater, bowling, awesome day spa and pool.
