I want to give a higher score, but can't. The night before arrival we received a call to say the pool and Jacuzzi is closed for resurfacing. Then arrival at main desk to check in, its hot. A guest is complaining his AC is not working, he has dirty sink and he has told the front desk three times. Arrival in the room, door does not lock, shower does not drain. Next day, breakfast for three people, $50.00, a buffet that was lacking. Again no AC in the main hall or breakfast area. Arrival in the spa, again hot! Middle of July, where is the AC? I am a paying guest and want Air Conditioning when it's a hot July month.

One star for my massage therapist who tried to make my massage comfortable and one star for a comfortable bed (very surprised by that).

Laid back, good ol' river fun! A resort & spa in the middle of no where where they are nice enough to let the locals party. They will not, under any circumstances let you check in early, but they are cool enough to let you use the facilities. People come there by boat, car and bus. Extra large pool near the inlets where you can see manatees, go fishing, lots of stuff the kids can do while you watch them from the tiki bar or while playing cornhole. Their restaurant is slightly expensive, but this IS a resort. Food is good. I HIGHLY recommend the crab/lobster bisque and crab cakes even though they put corn in them both. Service was great!

It was nice. We wanted to see the manatees on our way out of town. The only reasons it gets four stars and not 5 is the hallways feel kind of sterile, there was only one place to plug anything in without moving the bed or unplugging lamps, and the desk was a little sticky. If we ever go back for like a week or so or with a group and the rates are affordable we'll probably stay here again. Also noticed boats and a spa so it seems like there is allot to do that we didn't have a chance to try. Also the staff was super nice and accommodating!
