The Mountain Top Resort is located in central Vermont surrounded by the Green Mountains and overlooking a 740 acre lake. Regional dining is enjoyed at our tavern (with 12 local Vermont Craft Brews on tap), and locals and guests alike enjoy our Wednesday Night Burger & Brew. Winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horse drawn sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, snow tubing, ice skating and sledding. Summer activities include horseback riding (trail rides and lessons), swimming in the pool or at the private beach, kayaking, canoeing, hiking tennis, claybird shooting, disc golf. Spa Services are available in all seasons.

Located on the ground level of The Mountain Top Barn adjacent to the main lodge, you will immediately start to relax as you pass through the sliding barn doors and into the welcoming reception area. With features such as barn board wall paneling, hammered copper pedicure basins, custom tiled showers, a spacious cedar sauna, custom soapstone sinks, rich leather and wood furniture, state-of-the-art accessories, and views to the mountains – the spa & salon is the perfect example of ‘rustic luxe’ design in a wholly relaxing space.
Our specialty service spa & salon offers a feast for the senses with signature treatments using Aveda products. Services include a wide variety of massages, scrubs & wraps, facials, manicures, pedicures and professional hair and make-up for wedding parties. Use of our Sauna, Hot Tub and Outdoor Heated Pool (pool available in summer months only) are included in your overnight stay.

It is a great hotel, restaurant and spa with a relaxing view and pleasant service.
This establishment was amazing for a weekend get away just my husband and myself. Tucked away in the Adirondacks it was romantic and enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner was included in our package. Staff was friendly, courteous and on point all around. Loved the horse drawn carriage ride -- its an excellent touch. Room was beautiful - loved the balcony over looking the mountains and the options. Very delightful place to visit. If I could give 10 stars I would. Only thing that stunk was really we wanted a couples massages but because of Covid it wasn't an available option. It was still fun though! If your in the area definitely check it out lodge is beautiful with breathtaking views.
