I believe in health and wellness and know that if massage services were more affordable, more people would incorporate the benefits of massage therapy into their lifestyles, so I decided to create a business that would work to promote healthy bodies inside healthy, green, buildings.” — Founder, Allie T. Mallad

If I could leave ZERO STARS I would! They never confirmed my appointment with me. Never got an email or anything. I got a call 5 minutes prior to what should’ve been my booked appointment time all for them to tell me they are going to charge me the full price for not showing up. First and foremost, if someone makes an appointment at any store/company that store/company needs to have a program/code in place for their clients/customers to get both an email AND text message to confirm appointments. ESPECIALLY if they charge you $100+ for not showing up at the exact time when they don’t even confirm the appointment with you

One must take caution to assure appointments we THOUGHT we booked, were actually booked. A missing or lack of appointment confirmation is worth a call (email is better because there is a paper trail), because those few minutes are worth avoiding the cancellation fee. We have had digital gremlins work the wrong way against us too many times. Showing an email thread you've initiated, addressing the lack of confirmation, is usually all your financial institution needs to side in your favor if indeed the facility failed to confirm. -- Spa Index

I made a mistake. I put the appointment time on my calendar as 730pm accidentally instead of 7pm. When I arrived at 7:21pm, I stood at the counter for 6 min before someone came to help me. I was informed that because my appointment was for 7, and I was late, my massage therapist was sent home and I was charged.   I get that I'm charged for the whole appointment, but, I didn't understand why I wasn't able to use the last 30 minutes of my available time, and why the therapist was sent home so quickly instead of waiting for the 30 minute mark or something.  When I questioned why she was already gone, when it was 7:30 and I was there, the man at the counter rose his voice and talked to me like a child, pointing his finger at me, scolding me. People go to have massages for many reasons, pain, stress. To walk in and be belittled like that was so unhelpful and really uncalled for. I’m not going back.

We would hazard a guess that the 7:00 p.m. appointment time was the final time slot of the day, and at the 15 minutes late mark, the therapist was sent home, rather than waiting in the facility for an hour. That said, were we management, we'd err on the side of the customer and wait until at least the 7:30 pm half way mark, so that in the event ANY of the remaining time was available, it could be used, even for an express massage. That would have been a courteous solution to your scheduling problem and you'd receive at least some benefit from your scheduled time. -- Spa Index
