The Face Place has been successfully operating for over 40 years, when its first location opened in Los Angeles.
For those 40 years, the Face Place has been located in the heart of West Hollywood in one of the city’s most unique, historical buildings. The comfortable, unpretentious environment is a safe haven for those looking to escape the rigors of day to day life in Los Angeles.
Our signature treatment, first introduced in 1972, takes a clinical approach combining both skilled extraction techniques with galvanic current to deliver improved skin tone, firmness, fewer lines and a clearer complexion. We have stayed true to what works; the signature treatment that was offered at our opening in 1972 is the same treatment we offer today. Equally important has been the development and evolution of our line of facial products targeted to meet the needs of both men and women.
In 2008 Stark Waxing Studio, a Silver Lake based waxing-only salon, opened in Face Place Los Angeles. Stark offers a full menu of facial and body waxing for both women and men.

I got the iderm facial with Carol. She was great and walked me through each step before she started. The extraction part wasn't painful! My face was tightened and my pores were minimal, if not disappeared. I'll be going back to have this facial done!
They're open again! Thank goodness.
Face Place was my first stop into personal upkeep after months of sheltering in place.. A visit there yesterday was better than a week at a spa!
The place is run professionally and graciously. I was welcomed back by the owner, Tony, and Myra, who has been taking care of my skin since I first discovered Face Place a decade ago.
For me, a facial is ALL ABOUT CLEANING, and Face Place has been delivering that to their clients for 50 years (!!) with their unique iderm treatment.
I would not spend time or money on any facial that neglects the very root of one's skin problems - dirt, circulation, pollutants. It makes no sense to have an esthetician apply layers of product on top of skin that is not clean.

I have been a client of The Face Place for around 30 years. I have a standing appointment every two weeks and never skip. These facials are the best and only way to hide one's age. Tony has been my esthetician for decades and takes great care of my skin. He is a sweetheart and always brings his A game. Their products are the only ones that I trust to maintain my skin in between facials and for good reason. They are easy to use and natural (no perfumes). I don't wear makeup, and it is because of their treatments and products that I don't need to!
