The Delaire Graff Estate with Luxury Lodging, Winery, Sculpture Garden and Spa is situated in Stellenbosch in the heart of South Africa’s most historic and prestigious wine region. Founded by Simon van der Stel in 1679, Simon brought a sound knowledge of viticulture, the art of wine making – fostering a tradition that has grown from strength to strength through the centuries. In 1982 the new owner renamed the farm Delaire Estate, meaning “From the Sky”.   Today, with two outstanding restaurants, a state-of-the-art winery, exclusive Lodges, a Luxury Spa and two luxury boutiques, this piece of paradise, nestled between majestic mountains and overlooking the vineyards of Stellenbosch, is one of the world’s leading destinations.

The Lodge

The Spa

The Delaire Graff Spa offers guests an enriching and holistic approach to wellness and beauty in an awe-inspiring setting and invites guests to rejuvenate and replenish. Drenched in magnificent sunshine for most of the year, its 22-metre infinity pool and heated Jacuzzi o­ffers expansive views to soak up from a lounger in between therapeutic treatments.

Winery

Delaire Graff Estate’s unique terroir on the crest of the panoramic Helshoogte Mountain Pass is noted for its high-altitude vineyards, excellent soils and cooling sea breezes. From the outset wine quality has been superb and Delaire has achieved a stellar rise. The estate is proud to have achieved First Growth status in South Africa – reward for creating our country’s most desirable wines on first pressing.
