Cynthea’s Spa offers a mindful spa experience to nourish, heal and support your spirit, heart and mind. We offer a broad range of Massage Therapy, Facials, “Farm to Spa” Body Treatments, Special Occasion Makeup applications and Full Body Waxing for Women and Men.
Owner Cynthia Wight Hausman is a former bobsled and luge athlete and found her way to the body business through sports massage. She also earned a reputation for her Brazilian waxes at Stephen & Burns Salon and Spa, where she worked for two years. When her former employers expanded into the spa business, Wight Hausman went for a small one of her own. Located above Speeder & Earl’s, the spa suite is pleasant, private and filled with local art.

My experience getting a first-time bikini wax could not have been better. Jamie is wonderful and I will only book waxes with her from now on! Highly recommend!
The first time I went here it was great. Jamie is great at everything- from Brazilian waxes to massages. Since then I haven’t been able to connect our schedules for a wax so I’ve had to book with Shala. I have a high pain tolerance and I’ve been getting these waxes for a years but with her she just moves so quickly. I have left Cynthea's in so much pain. Bleeding on multiple occasions and with tears in my eyes. It's like she’s just trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible without taking the time to understand the client! Now that I’m leaving the area I have far more options for waxing. I do not recommend waxing with Shala, but Jamie is good.
Lovely little spa tucked away on Church St with tons of options for parking. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Very peaceful atmosphere, reasonable prices, and a great selection of options. We went for our 1 year anniversary celebration and will definitely be coming back again!
