The 18,500 square-foot facility was designed and built to minimize its impact on the environment while maximizing its efficiency. A small group of us (including a dog) stayed here twice in the last month. My first visit here was so great that we decided to bring another group here on a subsequent vacation. I found Crystal Mountain while searching for dog friendly hotels and resorts near the Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Initially, I was leaning towards 2 separate Airbnb stays - one closer to Arcadia and then another one closer to Traverse City, but am so glad I came across this place. Both times we stayed in a Wintergreen unit (condominium style). The units have similar layouts with different furniture, appliances, and themes.
We loved how the restaurants, water park, adventure course, and fitness center and spa are within walking distance. Also, the two golf courses with numerous tee times was great for the golfers in my group and the resort allows people to ride along.
We will definitely stay at Crystal Mountain again so we can spend more time in the area.
Crystal Mountain is a beautiful place to stay. It's actually like a little village. My husband and I stayed there three nights for our daughter's wedding. They have a small grocery store, a spa and salon, and I even had my makeup done for me the day of the wedding. I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for a special place for a family gathering or a romantic getaway.
Family friendly ski resort with so much to enjoy! Take a ski lesson, the instructors are top notch! Not a downhill skier? There's fat bikes, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. Also just love the spa! It's year round too, fun outdoor activities for kids and adults, ALPINE SLIDE and I hear the golf course is great too.
