Mandarin Oriental Lago Di Como Resort and Spa is a five-star luxury resort located on the east side of Lake Como, in the lovely village of Blevio, only 5 km from Como and 65 km from Milano Malpensa International Airport.
The Resort was the former estate of a renowned opera singer and the theme is luxuriously carried on in the renovated resort. In the evening, the resort’s alfresco pool deck, which floats on Lake Como, becomes the stage for an animated fountain-and-light show set to opera music. A mesmerizing show of music, lights and water jets transforms the lake into a magical backdrop. The floating pool disappears and a dancing fountain, “suspended” over the lake surface, appears. Surrounded by an enchanting nature, the show will be accompanied by music from the best Italian opera arias.
The accommodations consist of guest rooms, apartments, and seven luxury villas, surrounded by a luxuriant botanic park. From this spectacular setting guests meander to either the spa, a sprawling subterranean indoor space with a swimming pool, Finnish and Mediterranean saunas, and floating pool for a unique swimming at the lake experience.
