Beautiful historic-replica hotel across the street from ETSU. Great attention to detail with period décor in lobby, multiple common areas, and in the rooms. Feels like you’ve been transported through time. Very good value for the money. Room was well-appointed with an extremely comfortable bed, spacious layout, good climate control and water temp/pressure, separate shower and soaking tub, and quality furnishings.

We wish there had been an indoor pool and/or hot tub. There is a sauna through the spa, but it has limited hours.

Breakfast was much better than “light continental” would imply. However, the Styrofoam plates were disappointing.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, we would definitely return! :)

Wife and I stayed for 2 nights and what a place this is! Check-in was a breeze, rooms were large, super clean and the bathrooms are magnificent! Hotel restaurant, Wellington’s, is a must and the spa was great!

My husband and I are local but wanted a staycation. This is a beautiful hotel and felt like taking a step back in time. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful and kind. We ate at The Wellington and it was very yummy. Took some time to get our food, but the world is having staffing problems so I feel that’s understandable. Plus, it gave us time to have a drink and visit more. We also had a couples massage at the spa. It was very relaxing. Look forward to our next visit.
