Pardon our dust!
In 2009, we blended our day spa collection with our
resort
spa collection, for all locations outside of the US and Canada, in order to make your
browsing experience more efficient. You'll be able to find both
day spas and spa resorts and hotels, all on one page, for each
country. Bear with us, and thank you for the extra clicks you may be
making during the transition period. --
TIP: Don't see a link for your day spa
destination of choice? Don't overlook making use of a spa resort for
the day. Many resorts encourage non-guests to use the spa for the
day (although some charge a modest access fee). Often, Resort Spa
facilities will offer day guests services by the hour, or full day
programs, quiet rooms, relaxation areas, reading materials, cafes, and
other facilities which make for a lovely day escape, without the cost
of staying overnight.

A message from Spa Index
We value both the comfort and safety of our readers traveling in countries outside of the United States.
For that reason, Spa Index was the first online Spa Directory Service to provide its visitors with easy access to the United States State Department for Travel Warnings, Consular
Information Sheets, and Pubic Warnings. Spa Index wishes you a safe and happy trip. -- Editor.
GO TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE'S TRAVEL WARNING SERVICE
What Are Travel Warnings, Consular Information Sheets & Public Announcements?
Travel Warnings are issued when the State Department decides, based on all relevant information, to recommend that Americans avoid travel to a certain country. Countries where avoidance of travel is recommended will have Travel Warnings as well as Consular
Information Sheets
Consular Information Sheets are available for every country of the world. They include such information as location of the U.S. Embassy
or Consulate in the subject country, unusual immigration practices, health conditions, minor political disturbances, unusual currency and entry regulations, crime and security
information, and drug penalties. If an unstable condition exists in a country that is not severe enough to warrant a Travel Warning, a description of the condition(s)
may be included under an optional section entitled "Safety/Security." On
limited occasions, we also restate in this section any U.S. Embassy advice
given to official employees. Consular Information Sheets generally do not
include advice, but present information in a factual manner so the traveler can
make his or her own decisions concerning travel to a particular country
