Policies |
|
|
|
|
-
Group Rates are not
available to Basic or Bronze Level (text only) day spa listings, as those
listings are already discounted and priced well below market rates.
-
Group Rates are available
to all Silver, Gold and Platinum listings, for both Day Spas
and Stay Spas.
-
For groups with multiple properties, listings appear on SpaIndex.com for
each location
in the group, even if the listing is replicated. In other words, you
may elect to have ONE listing describe a group of properties with 6 different
locations, but the listing will be published once for each
location under the appropriate city/state headings.
-
Members submitting an
application for a listing for ONE property, but requesting we link to a
website displaying or advertising multiple properties, will be treated as
a group with multiple locations and invoiced accordingly (one rate per
location/property). In other words, a member cannot request one paid listing
for Spa Resort One, which benefits related or additional properties (Spa
Resort Two, Spa Resort Three, etc). Each property or location in the
group or advertised on the member's website must be a qualifying spa
property, and, a listed member of the group.
-
The member has the
option to 1) have a separate listing for each property and pay for each
listing accordingly, or 2) have one listing for the group, published once
under each appropriate city/state heading.
-
Properties may be
submitted at any time throughout the calendar year, however, all
properties belonging to a group must renew as a group in either:
-
Properties submitted to a
qualifying group during mid-year / mid listing-period, will be invoiced on
a pro-rata basis so as to
expire and renew with the remainder of the group.
-
Group Renewal Periods
typically commence on January 1 or July 1, in our discretion, and pro-rata
invoices are based on those renewal dates (e.g., a property submitted
in March will likely be invoiced for the shortened year, through
December period, and renew on January 1. A property submitted in
August, will likely be invoiced for the August through June period, and
renew on July 1).
-
In the case of a property
insertion which moves a Group from one discount rate to another discount
rate (e.g., from 10% to 15%), the new / higher Applicable Group
Rate is applied to the qualifying property, but not applied retroactively
to properties already listed. The new Applicable Group Rate will be
applied when all properties renew as a group (e.g., when a 6th property
is added, it is discounted by 10%. However, the first five
properties do not qualify for that higher group rate discount until all 6
properties are renewed as a Group).
-
Group Invoices must be
directed to one (1) company, representative, or designated agent.
-
GROUP RATE DISCOUNTS
REQUIRE PROMPT PAYMENT.
Group Rate Invoices are due upon receipt, net 15 days. If a Group Rate
Invoice is past due by thirty (30) days or more, the Group Rate Discount
is waived and the full listing fee based on currently published rates is
immediately due and payable.
CLICK THROUGH,
REPORTING, PERFORMANCE
- Regarding click through statistics,
impressions and traffic reports, we
do track our most popular pages, search terms, unique visitors, and page
views, we do so for our internal use.
- We do not track individual clicks or link
popularity on your behalf. We prefer to keep our listings
competitively priced, by not diverting our budget to either the expense of
sophisticated software to track individual listings (link popularity), or,
the overhead associated with paying our webmasters to generate and share
reports with our more than 7,000 members. It would essentially require a
full-time staff to keep up with that degree of reporting, and, the
information is usually available to our members, often at no cost, from
their own site's
tools.
- We will, however, gladly use a unique
click-through code that our members provide to us, which enables our members to track inbound visitors from our site. Many of our marketing clients provide
us with encoded URLs which generate reports on the receiving end, and we are
happy to use these links when requested to do so.
- Site Statistic Reports are readily
available to our members, on their own websites, through their own
webmasters, and by adding free code readily available on the internet.
- Bear in mind, if a free "stat counter" is
added to a website, most of the not terribly sophisticated free counters
only track referrals inbound to the page where the code has been placed.
We frequently link to pages other than a home page (spa specials, for
instance), so it may be wise to use a site-wide stat counter to track
inbound referrals from us.
- Here are a few free stat counter sites,
none of which we personally endorse:
- Statcounter.com
- Extremetracking.com
- OneStat.com
- Freehitcounters.net
- Cyber-counter.com
- Freestats.com
- Activemeter.com
