As Seen at the
International Spa Association (ISPA) Conference,
Dallas, Texas, Sep 30-Oct 3, 2005: More than 300 vendors of the best
spa products, equipment and supplies exhibited at this year's conference.
We enjoyed trying time-honored sellers from long-time exhibitors, and were
excited to meet new vendors and try all-new products to spotlight for our spa
members and readers. Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing our
favorites.
Here, we spotlight the
wonderful NUFOLIA exfoliating mitt and soap products which are
perfectly packaged as an elegant gift:
Nufolia's deluxe combo mitt pack, containing one each of a bath and body mitt, is an
award-winning Canadian design which presents beautifully as a minimalist and
elegant gift. The slim grey cardstock folio opens to reveal one each of the
lush exfoliating mitts. The hypoallergenic Facial Mitt is designed to
cleanse and remove dirt, oily buildup and bacteria without the abrasive
damage found with conventional face cloths. Nufolia's micro-fiber mitts are
based on super-fine fibers from Japan, interwoven with 35% nylon and 65%
polyester yarn that is divided further into 16 fibers through a cutting edge
technological process. The result is a lush, thick,
plush mitt that feels like velvet -- with a twist.
 After three days in a crowded convention center or
outside in the high degree and humid weather in Dallas, we were eager to use
the facial mitt each night in our hotel. We found it to look and feel lush
and elegant in our hands, and on our face, and the results were wonderful --
the mitt is sized to fit perfectly over four extended fingers, and cleansed
our faces, particularly the creases of our nose and congested chin areas, to
perfection. The velvety feel plays with a bit of "tooth" as the
fibers both smoothly glide over yet gently scrub the delicate facial skin.
It's an interesting feeling that we adore.
With proper care, each mitt is designed to last for 100
washings. The suggested retail price is $8.00 per facial mitt, $10.00 per
body mitt, or $25.00 for the combo gift presentation package.
 Nufolia's Cleansing & nourishing soap bar is hand made through a
traditional practice called "cold processing". A combination of an art and
science! This method allows for the valuable benefits of the Seabuckthorn
pulp and seed oil to be maintained and enhanced within the soap. This
hypoallergenic, cleansing and nourishing bar is enriched with Tibetan Sea
buckthorn seed and fruit oil containing some of the most powerful natural
antioxidants known to man. Seabuckthorn is famous throughout the centuries to
deliver an amazing healing, restorative, nourishing and anti-aging benefits.
While we enjoyed the simple presentation of the smaller-sized sample soap in
plain waxed white paper with the Nufolia logo (clean presentation appeals to
us) the full-size soap is packaged in another award-winning design gift-box
which compliments the folio style face and bath mitt combo.
