"Rejuvenate your skin with invigorating Shea Butter Sugar Scrubs. Gently buff your body to a satin finish with a combination of sugars and botanical extracts that help to exfoliate dead skin cells and refine texture, while precious oils sink deep to soften and moisturize. This isn't any ordinary scrub. No oil slick and no greasy tub."

SpaIndex.Com: Guide to Day Spas and Stay SpaWe admit it.  We are fortunate to be able to try wonderful lotions and potions from all over the globe, and it has made us picky. We have access to the best spa products around, from those specially crafted before our eyes and bodies in tropical spa getaways, to complex concoctions not available outside of the spa environment.  For that reason, when a retail or over the counter product strikes our fancy, we love to share the news with home spa enthusiasts who are searching for products which help achieve that baby-like alpha skin.

Bidwell Botanicals' Shea Butter Sugar Scrub is one of those products.  This delightful scrub has the consistency of freshly creamed butter and sugar, rather than the customary oily and gloppy texture found in most moisturizing scrubs.  The result is a buttery scrub that sensuously spreads onto your skin, gently exfoliating and moisturizing, all the while staying in place, where you want it. No dripping salt or oils, here, heading down the drain before you're finished.  The Cranberry Fig scent is very subtle, but lovely.  Tiny cranberry seeds are sprinkled throughout, and rather than having a cloying or artificial aroma, the blend is perfectly measured and balanced to be as soothing and gentle as the product itself.   Best of all, the buttery scrub is clean rinsing, dissolving into a milky white liquid which rinses away completely and effortlessly, making it ideal to use in home tubs, while traveling, and in the spa environment.     We sniffed our soft hands arms throughout the day and went through the jar in a matter of days (we keep our scrubs by our hand sink -- why not treat yourself every time you wash your hands?).

Bidwell Botanicals is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is an independent woman-owned business founded by Jill Jones.  All Bidwell Botanical products are conceived and created in-house, and include handmade soaps, moisturizers, and spa treatments which contain only the finest food grade oils, creamy milks, farm grown and home grown botanicals and flowers, aroma therapeutic essential oils and fragrances. Creamy goat's milk and pure raw honey are locally harvested.

Jones tells us "I'm glad you like the sugar scrub. It is one of our best selling items. We provide this product to several upscale spas for treatments and retail. I think because it rinses clean and is not a mess like most scrubs, it's very easy for therapists to use and their customers rave about it."

So do we ... so be sure to try this wonderful product, available from Bidwell Botanicals' own website, or, fine spas and shops including Tranquility Salon & Day Spa - Medford, Oregon; Treus Dell Salon & Spa - San Antonio, Texas; The Body Lounge - Stowe, Vermont; Spa 85, Bay Shore, New York; Glo on the Go, San Jose, California, and more.
