Don't Miss:  Spa Cuisine Recipes of the Month courtesy of the women-only retreat Green Mountain at Fox Run, Vermont

One of the pleasure we have in working in the skincare and spa industry is trying new products.    We had the pleasure of trying skincare and body care from 360° Skin Care, products formulated with naturally derived ingredients and "...crammed full of Antioxidants, Botanical Extracts, Fruit Extracts, and Vitamins."

All of 360's skincare is developed to be non-irritating and gentle on delicate facial tissue, and for all skin types.

360 formulates a Four Step Facial Care regimen which includes cleanser, toner, facial scrub, and moisturizer.  The complexions for our staff run the gamut from Rosacea to Acne to Sensitive/Mature skin -- we each tried the Lavender Mint Facial Scrub and unanimously loved it.  This lightly scented and whipped texture exfoliant is chock full of Microdermabrasion crystals and jojoba beads, but doesn't feel over harsh.   The Facial Scrub contains jojoba seed oil, avocado oil, shea butter, honey, chamomile extract, calendula extract, bilberry extract, and more. Gentle enough to use 2-3 per week, but strong enough to do the job -- this is a product we'll use again (2 oz $25, available in LavenderMint or Unscented).

The complete line of 360 Skincare incorporates vitamin-rich ingredients like Avocado and Carrot Seed oil, imported clays from France and Morocco, natural plant extracts of Chamomile, Calendula & Lavender, a blend of five fruits extracts to gentle buff away dead skin, conditioning Silk Proteins and anti-oxidants such as Green Tea and White Peony Tea to fight against free radicals which can damage the skin.

We also tried several body care products, including 360's best selling Caribbean Madness Body Mousse, a light and fluffy emulsion but rich in Virgin Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, and Honey.  We loved it for the rich and emollient feeling and for that reason it was bound to be a favorite as well, however, the product didn't last a day in our offices before the daughter of one of staff members fell in love with the vibrant tropical fruit scent of mango, papaya, pineapple, peach, lemon, and orange with a light sweet vanilla background, and declared it vital for her pre-prom preparation (4 oz $17, available in Exotic Breeze, Lavender, Oasis, Paradise, Sunshine, Caribbean Madness).

Additional collections include the vinotherapy inspired "Wine Therapy Collection" (body wash, body scrub, body mousse and body lotion), each fortified with the antioxidant rich grape seed extract from Burgundy, France, and the "Spa Therapy Collection" including the Bath Collection and Foot Therapy collection -- foot soak, lotion, cream, and scrub.   360's signature scents are described below.

360 Skin Care's creator, Yahmika Fenner, tells us "We recognize there are many products on the market that smell good, but we believe that products should not only smell good but be good for you. For this reason, we strive to preserve an exceptionally high standard for quality control. We manufacture all of our skin care treatments in small batches to ensure freshness and preserve product integrity.  We are strictly against animal testing, our products are cruelty free and our raw ingredients are responsibly sourced.  Also, we use  recyclable packaging -- all of our boxes, bottles, pumps, and caps are 100% recyclable."

Now, SpaIndex and SpaFlyer readers enjoy 20% off an order of $30 or more (Mention "SpaIndex" or "SpaFlyer" when checking out).  Valid through June 30, 2006.
