Robert Andrew Spa, Gambrills, Maryland.  
My take, well it's like nothing else in Maryland or the Baltimore/DC area. It's huge and first class with a fireplace in the tranquil room. I had a couples' package there in May. We soaked in the tub for 30 min. Had our 50 min (or maybe longer) massages, which were so amazing. Then they served us lunch! I like that they use a really clean.  Hungarian skincare line, can't remember the name. They use my favorite type of wax -- the stuff that doesn't hurt. Its hard and painless. But anyway, I like the place, it's just a good quality spa. -- Capri C., October 2009

My favorite spa in the DC area. I like to visit twice a year with my mother.  It's clean and well-organized. The front desk staff is always polite. That's a big thing with me. And yes, they use Eminence Organics.-- C.K., November 2009

The Spa at St. Michaels Harbour Inn is wonderful! You feel relaxed the moment you enter. It's a beautiful spa and the staff makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. You start off with a lush robe, slippers and quiet time in a beautiful relaxation room. I've been there several times and have had a facial, massage, manicure & pedicure. All were terrific! Every time we visit St. Michaels my first call is to The Spa at Harbour Inn.  -- Liz U., March 2005

Lynn's Day Spa, Columbia, MD
On a recent visit to Lynn's Day Spa on July 29, I enjoyed their professional atmosphere and overall the customer service was excellent. One employee, however, was extremely indifferent, bordering on rude.

Kelly popped her chewing gum throughout the entire 60-minute session, sniffed continuously as if she a cold, and actually sit down on a stool while she "massaged" my back. I use quotation marks because it felt more like a rubdown given by a friend who doesn't know anything about the art of massage.

There was no pattern to her movements, and she had to be asked more than once to lessen the pressure she was using. There are places on my body which are not just sore (which can be expected after a massage), but actually bruised.

The experience put a damper on my entire day (even though my facial was great), and I did complain to management.  They did not offer me any compensation or other consideration.  I will not return. -- Nicky, July 2003

The spa was very pleasant in appearance and they offered many services, however, after two visits I have decided I will not return. The technicians talked amongst themselves as well as took personal cell phone calls while performing my treatment.  I thought it was very impersonal, especially considering what I was being charged. -- Amy, Jan 2003
