My husband and I made reservations at the downtown Chicago Red Door spa
based on a recommendation from our hotel concierge. We were somewhat
concerned because the day before we left for our getaway weekend, we saw
some less than glowing reviews on the spa about price, quality of service,
rudeness of staff, etc, but decided to go anyway based on the fact that we
had to make our reservations using a credit card. Within five
minutes of entering the spa, we witnessed one of the therapists being
totally rude to another customer who was trying to locate his wife.
The women's shower was very small and the men's facilities were
non-existent. The men's facilities consisted of a room about the
size of a coat closet, barely big enough for one person to change in, with
no lock on the door, no shower, no sink. The service was average,
but extremely overpriced compared to other quality spas. The spa was
supposed to be one of the best in Chicago, but we found it to be far from
that and would never return. -- Kim

I was given a gift card for a spa day for my birthday, and I
must say, it was the second best day of my life. (Next my wedding day of
course.) Everyone was so nice and the place was so beautiful and clean.
The massage was perfect. I learned ways to stay healthy, and I can get
more massages at a discounted rate as a preferred, repeat customer. My
face looks and feels great after my wonderful facial. The manicure and
pedicure was just as wonderful. My friends loved my nails and my husband
loves my new hair style and color. What a difference the Rav Spa made in

Hair & Nails Spa in Oak Lawn was
a wonderful experience with a manicure and pedicure. I've had many
manicures and pedicures before, and this was by far the best yet.
