REQUESTS TO BE LINKED SpaIndex.Com does not give reciprocal links to spas and salons. We honor our spa members and advertisers by not giving gratis links to spa facilities which are eligible to join our community with a paid listing, as this may be viewed as a means to avoid our already economical directory listing fees. SpaIndex.Com does not engage in "three-way" links (e.g., WebsiteSampleOne.com would like a link on SpaIndex.com, but, offers to place the reciprocal link for our site on WebsiteSampleTwo.com -- usually a link farm. SpaIndex.Com does not link exchange with any website which has given no editorial consideration to the links appearing on the links page. "Link farms" with links for every topic from aardvarks to zippers do not benefit link exchange partners. The page on which our link is placed must contain links which are complimentary to spa, wellness, health, fitness, beauty, or travel. Link Partners must have a quality site with fresh content (no solely-RSS fed sites). Both the home page and the page on which our reciprocal link will show, on our partner's site, must be Google page ranked at 3 or higher. Exceptions are made for newer sites with high quality content. Your site must reside on/at its own domain name and URL. We do not link to shared domain websites or shopping cart based sites (Ebay stores, Geocities, Angelfire, Yahoo, etc.) Your links page must reside on your own web site, under your own domain, and not hosted remotely (such as Bravenet or some other forum) (See Item 2, above). Our partner's links page must be easily found from the home page and not "hidden" in unlinked areas of a website. Banned Links: Our personal philosophy is such that we won't link exchange with or promote Avon, BeautiControl, Mary Kay, Arbonne, or other MLM lines, particularly on behalf of individual representatives. We prefer to and do support and promote professional product lines available in the spa and salon environment, or, small businesses for the home user -- all-natural handmade, small-entrepreneur, or women and minority owned skincare and beauty lines. We will not link exchange with any website which disables the "back button" -- making it intentionally difficult for readers and guests to leave your site and easily return to the originating / referring website. No casino or gaming sites No pharmacy sites No dating, singles, or sexually motivated sites SpaIndex.Com will consider links to non-competing complementary business web sites offering unique experiences and/or information of interest to the spa and wellness enthusiast. Professionally designed web sites offering well-developed content are invited to participate in our shared links program. We will not link exchange with any website, business, or group which in our sole discretion, has vulgar, inappropriate, sexually explicit, discriminatory, and/or solely off-topic material. Banners and graphic images must be tasteful, scaleable, and stationary (i.e., we prefer no animated gifs, but will consider one if it is tasteful, and absolutely no pop-ups). We do not permit any sound or voice files to be placed on our Courtesy Links page, particularly computer-generated music midi files. Choose from our logos and banners, below.
