SK Sanctuary La Jolla, CA 92037 858-459-2400
Dr. Stephen Krant and Kelly
Costa from SK Sanctuary in La Jolla, California created a unique spa program
for women either fighting with, or in remission from, breast cancer. SK Sanctuary
opens its doors to anyone with a current or past diagnosis of breast cancer
and offers them spa treatments for free. It happens on the last Tuesday of
every month. “These women need pampering, especially with what they're
going through. They really respond to the company of others who have either
gone through or are experiencing the same struggle with possibly losing one
or both breasts,” said Costa, spa director at SK Sanctuary.

Moodz Spa
Salon, Acton, MA October is breast cancer awareness month and Moodz is committed to making
a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Each year, 182,000
women are diagnosed with breast cancer. 43.300 will lose their life. One woman
in eight either has or will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. However,
if detected early, the five year annual survival rate for breast cancer exceeds
95%. Mammograms are among the best early detection methods, yet 13 million
U.S. women 40 years of age or older never have a mammogram. Become a part
of the fight against this horrible disease! Moodz will donate 1% of all retail
sales in October to the cause. We have many special items available for purchase
including pink straightening irons, pink clarisonics facial brushes, pink
hair brushes, pink nail polish, lipstick etc. All things to remind us how
important it is to be aware and to help out wherever we can. Also available
during the month of October are pink hair extensions. Show your support
by donning one pink hair extension for the month of October. Only $15. All
of the money received for pink hair extensions will be donated to breast cancer
