The International Spa Association "destination spa" as a facility with the primary purpose of guiding individual spa-goers to develop healthy habits.  Historically a seven-day stay, this lifestyle transformation can be accomplished by providing a comprehensive program that includes spa services, physical fitness activities, wellness education, healthful cuisine and special interest programming.   For purposes of listing of SpaIndex.com: Guide to Spas, Destination Spas include Weight Loss Retreats, all-season Boot Camps, and Medical Retreats where health and wellness results are the primary focus, and most daily activities and all facilities are designed for that purpose.

Day Spa members are provided with a "SpaFlyer Voucher" intended to attract first time guests.  We have selected several common offers, or, you are welcome to create your own.  The term for each offer is ONE YEAR and cannot be changed except under unique or unusual circumstances (a service is no longer offered on the menu, for example).  For that reason, we recommend the voucher be for "dollars off" or "percentage off" rather than for a specific or new service.  

Our SpaFlyer Vouchers are heavily marketed on our website, our blogs, on Twitter, and, on Google Ads at our own expense. We also share our specials and coupons directly with thousands of subscribers who view posts through RSS feed.

Thank you for taking the time to complete our online submission form.  We find that the majority of the information we need to complete your listing can be obtained in this manner.  We will review your submission and contact you VIA EMAIL within 1 week if we have questions or comments.  One of the best tools for keeping our rates as competitively priced as they are is that we work electronically to the extent possible.  We will contact you via email, and link you to an online proof of your listing for your review and approval.  While we are available by telephone and will be happy to talk to you anytime necessary, we ask that you respond to our email overtures whenever possible.  You will have an opportunity to ask our staff any and questions you may have, and, you will have an opportunity to review your proposed listing and request modifications, before it is published.

Spa Index Media, LLC reserves the right to reject any application for a  spa listing if we feel, in our sole discretion, the requesting facility does not meet our minimum guidelines for provision of spa and aesthetic services or should not be listed on our directory for other reasons.  Submitting an application will result in a sample listing being prepared on your behalf.  You have the right to refuse the listing if it is not to your satisfaction, prior to publication, and a refund of your listing fee will be issued.   Once you approve a listing and request it be published, the listing is considered valid and permanent for the listing period, subject to any contact information or minor modifications which may be required throughout the year.  Submission of this application indicates applicant has agreed to be bound by all terms of service listed on our Members Area.
