Welcome to the Kenwood Inn,
nationally acclaimed as one of the wine country’s most elegant and intimate
country inns. The inn consists of 12 guest suites and a full service spa
facility. Located among rolling vineyards off Highway 12 in the Valley
of the Moon, Sonoma Valley, California, the Kenwood Inn and Spa
evokes the mood of a Tuscan villa.
The Inn's buildings cluster
around a center garden featuring fountains located among mature rose and
herb bushes, persimmon, fig and olive trees. To one side is a full sized
swimming pool, Jacuzzi and shady arbor.
The original four-room main
building, cloaked in ivy, is joined by three smaller Italian-style
buildings, each containing two to four suites. Each suite contains European
antiques, lush fabric treatments, feather beds and down comforters, a
private bath and a working fireplace. Upstairs suites feature a balcony
while downstairs suites offer a private terrace. Each of the Inn's
suites offer such amenties as a fireplace, private bath, and queen size
feather bed. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning.
The Spa at Kenwood
Inn offers a full
range of services for our overnight guests as well as day use for those who
stop in to visit. Included in our spa menu is a variety of massage styles to
choose from, the most popular of which is aromatherapy. We feature body
wraps and scrubs to pamper and revitalize, facials (including the
youth-enhancing Faccia Bella, an acupressure facelift), and special
combination therapies designed specifically to your needs. Our highly
trained professional staff specializes in traditional and not-so-traditional
body therapies, as well as an indulgent two-hour East Indian Ayurvedic
healing treatment. Our guests will experience the ultimate in personalized
services.
The Kenwood Inn & Spa is located in the heart of
California's Sonoma wine country, about an hour’s drive north of the Golden
Gate Bridge. It is a 15-minute drive from the historic town of Sonoma, with
its plaza dating back to 1835, and
just minutes away from many of the region's finest restaurants, wineries,
and and state parks.
The Kenwood Inn & Spa is available for
private events, such as corporate retreats, family celebrations, and
weddings. Rates
include a full breakfast daily, and a complimentary bottle of wine is
provided upon arrival. In keeping with the romantic country setting,
children are not recommended.
