This peaceful waterside resort is set
into the Atlantic rainforest and is built in a colonial Portuguese
village style. It accommodates a maximum of 14 guests. The peaceful and
elegant double occupancy rooms reflect a balance between sophisticated
simplicity and environmental sensitivity. The decoration is minimalist
yet subtle, and creates an atmosphere in harmony with our objectives
and energy.
The attractive bedrooms
are spacious, with excellent vistas of the sea. The added bonus this
season is the presence of a small secluded beach right at the front
gate and crystal clear water lapping around the dock. In the evening,
you can relax in the hot tub embraced by the luscious rainforest.
Dining
Your
lodge stay also includes an exquisite nutritionally balanced vegetarian
diet, with fish optional two times a week. A typical day's menu

The Program
Body & Soul Adventures offers you a magical and challenging sequence of daily activities that will help you relax and unwind. Intense rainforest
hikes, sea kayaking, yoga and 1,500 calorie days are guaranteed to tone your body and clear your mind. A combination of simplicity, agonizing ecstasy, and friendly congeniality
forces you to re-evaluate your life and focus on what really matters. The bonus – you detox and lose weight.
By night, enjoy the mesmerizing Brazilian martial art and dance form (Capoeira), a percussion session, creative dancing, a sing-along or just
relax in a hammock. You can also enjoy a swim in the warm sea, snorkeling (bring your own gear) or simply take some time out on a quiet rock.
The Location
Your Body & Soul Adventure takes place on Ilha Grande, an enchanted paradise island located just 100 miles south of Rio de Janeiro, that is
absolutely magical. The island is lined with picturesque tropical beaches bordering lush virgin Atlantic rain forests (approx. 20 square
miles). No private cars are allowed on the "big island." Instead, there is a fantastic network of well-maintained trails for exploring this land of intriguing tastes.

Ilha Grande boasts a total of 106 separate
beaches of diverse characteristics. The medium water temperatures are
between 18ºC - 24ºC. (65ºF - 75º). As part of our program we trek and
kayak to the most beautiful beaches on the island.
