LOW CARB MOCK OATMEAL
(2 servings)
1/2 cup wheat bran
1/2 cup flaxseed seed
meal
1 packages Splenda or other artificial sweetener
1/3
cup water
Mix all items together in a microwave safe dish.
Add water and stir. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave for an
additional 45 seconds. Serve with a pat of butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon
and artificial sweetener if desired.
Contributor's Note: Dry
ingredients can be mixed together and stored in the refrigerator for
later use. This recipe has roughly 15 grams of carbohydrates.
