APPLE CRUNCH

8 Tart Apples
1 Cup Orange Juice
4 Teaspoons Arrowroot or Cornstarch
Sliced Almonds
4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
Granola
 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, peel, core and thinly slice the apples. Combine orange juice, maple syrup and arrowroot (corn starch). Toss with apples. Place apple mixture in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are very tender. Sprinkle the granola and sliced almonds over the apple mixture just before serving. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
